About us

Tesfa Berhan Child and Family Development Organization (Tesfa Berhan CFDO) is a child and youth focused non-governmental and not-for-profit civil society organisation. It was founded on September 13, 2009 by community representatives from ChildFund’s (formerly known as Christian Children's Fund Inc.) project operational areas. Later on September 10/2019, it was re-registered at the Authority for Civil Society Organizations with license number 2190. Tesfa Berhan CFDO was formerly led by the general assembly. But, since 2019, it has become a board led organization.
